Ethnic electronica (also known as ethnotronica, ethno electronica or ethno techno) combines elements of electronic and world music and was developed in the 1990s. Among the commercial acts which work with this subgenre: Praise, Enigma, Ephemeral Mists, Deep Forest, Ivan Kupala, Stelsi, Agricantus.
